Mr. Fred Tam is widely respected in Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Vietnam and the U.S for his expertise and experience in stocks, gold, forex, commodity futures trading and investment. Mr.Fred Tam has a remarkable learning journey in his untiring pursue of academic and practical excellence in technical analysis. He studied securities and commodities futures trading techniques in the USA under Professor Hank O.Pruden of Golden Gate University, San Francisco; George Lane, Larry Williams, Jake Bernstein, Dr. Bill Williams, Steve Nison, Robert Miner, Joe Dinapoli, Tom Dorsey and many other prominent US traders. His academic and professional qualifications include:

Through years of research and personal trading experience, Fred Tam discovered and launched his winning, computerised trading system called ‘T.A.D (Turtle, Adam and Duck) System in 2017.This system mimics Japanese candlestick charting signals. He has written eight popular books on the Malaysian stock and futures markets. Among his bestselling books, Chart Patterns Analysis will soon be published in Vietnam in Vietnamese language and his book on The Power of Japanese Candlesticks was endorsed by Steve Nison who is acknowledged as the Grandfather of Japanese Candlesticks.
He was a regular columnist for the Malaysian Business Magazine, Nanyang Siang Pau, Business Times of the New Straits Times and Berita Harian. Mr.Fred Tam also contributed articles on the stock/futures markets to Investor Digest, Bankers Journal, China Press, Sabah Times, Daily Express, Sarawak Tribune, Shanghai magazine, Malaysian Tatler, Personal Investor magazine (Singapore), Technical Analysis of Stocks & Commodities magazine (United States) and Omega Research magazine (United States).
